Ever dreamed of designing your own high-accuracy, high-resolution Digital Multimeter (DMM)? Now you can — with Anabit’s Precision Multimeter Reference Design. And we’re not talking about another basic handheld meter. This is serious gear! We’re talking 6.5+ digits of resolution on DC voltage measurements. That’s microvolt-level insight into your circuits — the kind of precision usually reserved for top-tier lab instruments. if you do not believe us just check out the pictures where we compare its accuracy to a $4k Multimeter. This design supports a full suite of measurements, including:

  • DC & AC voltage
  • DC & AC current
  • 2-wire and 4-wire resistance
  • And even more multiple ADCs and measurement channels

Whether you're a precision measurement junkie, or you just want to build your own lab grade DMM, this is the perfect launchpad.

Check out the tutorial and get hands-on with the Anabit Precision Meter — your bench will thank you.

Product features

What Makes It Awesome?

✅ 32-bit Sigma-Delta ADC with > 26 bits ENOB — insane resolution for voltage measurements

✅ Auto-ranging up to ±200V, fully software-controlled

✅ Built-in multi-range current source — make precision resistance measurements without extra hardware

✅ Second 24-bit Sigma-Delta ADC — perfect for 4-wire resistance or custom measurements

✅ High-res precision shunt — measure current from 2 amps down to milliamps with ease

✅ Ultra-stable 2.5V reference, with optional 2.048V version for even tighter tolerances

✅Make measurement connections using the standard banana plugs or optional screw terminals

✅Jumper that allows you to select single power source mode or two power source mode (one for digital and one for analog). For instance, this allows you to use 3.3V digital power and 5V for analog power.

Specifications

32 bit ΔΣ ADC with up to 26.9 ENOB with built-in programmable gain amp, with second separate 24 bit ADC

Sample rates range from 2.5 SPS to 38.4 KSPS

Accuracy and resolution that allows you to make measurements in to micro volt realm

Built-in hardware and software calibration features to improve accuracy
